Boost Your Residual Income With Dynamic Display Widget

Most websites come with static sidebars. What that means is that every page and every post shows exactly the same information, the same adds, irrespective of the content on the post or page. To your website’s visitor this is boring and he or she becomes blind to your sidebars and your ads. As a result, no or very little money for you. However, you could significantly boost your residual income if you could make your widget display of ads dynamic, varied and applicable only to the posts at hand. A Dynamic Display Widget plugin can do just that!

What Is A Dynamic Display Widget(DDW)

Dynamic Display Widget is a very simple WordPress plugin that allows the user to decide which ad or ads will display in the sidebar of a specific post or page. For example, you are an internet marketer and your website offers reviews of various products, either your own or affiliate. Obviously, your goal is to boost your residual income by offering and eventually selling these products to potential customers.

With a static sidebar, you are limited to displaying only a banner or two and an opt-in subscription to your newsletter. This is displayed in exactly  the same way on every post, irrespective of the product you review and promote.

When you implement DDW, the plugin automatically displays your selected banner or advertisement in a position of your choice on the sidebar of a specific post or page. For example, I wrote a review post about a keyword research tool called Stealth Keyword Competition Analyzer (SKCA). There the Dynamic Display Widget displays the SKCA banner of my choice right on top of my sidebar, exactly in the spot where I have decided to place the widget. When I wrote a post about commentluv, on top of the sidebar I am displaying an advertisement for the commentluv plugin.

How To Set Up The Dynamic Display Widget

Setting up this widget is very simple. My friend Mark Hess has created a 3 minute video that explains the process. You may see the video below:

What Are The Advantages Of Having Dynamic Display Widget On Your Blog

  • having specific advertising for each new product review or promotion in your sidebar
  • increased CTR (click through rate) for individually placed banners
  • increased conversion rates on product sales

The Dynamic Display Widget is still available at a low price at the Warrior Forum.

In summary, DDW helps to boost your residual income by increasing CTR and conversion rates. It is inexpensive and easy to use. The Dynamic Display Widget converts a boring static sidebar to an interesting option that helps drive sales and thus boost your residual income. I have implemented it on my site and you can see it in action as my product reviews section grows. Each page looks different. I’d love to hear your comments. Tell me what you think of this unique, easily implementable idea.

Wow!! Thanks for sharing this Dita.

It’s definite a very useful tool to add to a blog especially those that are not really focus, like mine 🙂 As sometimes I talk about my dogs on my blog. So if it’d be great it shows some dogs stuff on the sidebar instead of internet marketing stuff.

    Awesome stuff.

    Thanks Dita!

    Hi Chetz,

That is absolutely correct. You can promote various products that would benefit dogs and dog owners. Each one relevant to the topic you discuss.

Not only would you benefit but your visitors will too.

    Have a great day,

    Dita

    This is a great idea.

As you say, people (and I include myself in this) develop banner blindness, especially as the side bar shows the same no matter which post we turn to.

But having the banner change to something more suited to the post certainly attracts the eye.

Thanks for the info, Dita. It is very informative

You are welcome Dave. I really disliked to have the same ads on all posts. I was pleased to have discovered this little gem. And, it is so simple to use.

      Cheers,

      Dita
